Interior Design Maida Vale

Located in the heart of Maida Vale, West London, Catherine Wilman Interiors worked alongside architect Edward Rutherfoord in renovating this family home. The luxury interior features bespoke carpentry throughout the property, including a handmade kitchen in the rear extension. Concealed sliding doors separate the living room from the open-plan kitchen dining area, which has aluminium sliding doors leading out on to the garden.

A bespoke banquette seat runs along the rear wall, with exposed brick as a feature and a skylight above providing a sunny, light space for the family to sit together at the dining table. A garden house is used as an office/guest bedroom. The perfect solution for when guests come to stay.

On the first floor, the master bedroom has a white en suite shower room. A twins' bedroom and baby's room complete the sleeping areas. In the entrance hall, we love the patterned floor tiles and bespoke carpentry to hang coats with hand painted grey finish. There is also useful storage under the seat. We tanked the vault area under the entrance stairs to create a utility room with a shower and toilet. The industrial style bronze finishes complement the cool white and grey colour scheme that really sets this apart as a wow factor for any visitors.
