Situated in the charming neighbourhood of Maida Vale in West London, Catherine Wilman collaborated with an architect to revamp this family residence. Our luxury design service delivered tailor-made carpentry solutions, including a bespoke kitchen, contributing to the home's overall elegance.
The design effortlessly integrates the living room with an open-concept kitchen-dining area, adorned with high-quality aluminium sliding doors that usher you out to a serene garden space. A custom-designed banquette seat graces the rear wall, set against the backdrop of rustic exposed brickwork, while an overhead skylight bathes the dining area in natural light.
Upstairs, the living spaces comprise a tranquil principal bedroom featuring an immaculate white en-suite shower room. Accompanying it are tastefully designed rooms for the younger members of the family. The ground floor entrance hall makes a striking impression with its intricate floor tiles and well-thought-out carpentry, providing a blend of style and practicality with a hand-painted grey finish for coat storage, as well as added storage beneath the seating.
Further enhancing the functionality of this chic London home is the strategic conversion of the under-stair vault area into a utility room, complete with a shower and toilet. Here, industrial-chic bronze accents beautifully contrast with a sleek palette of cool whites and greys, ensuring the home leaves an unforgettable impression on all who visit.
